What I'm working on right now
A snapshot of where my focus is this month. If you've read a /now page before, you know the drill: current, honest, and updated when things change.
Last updated: June 2026.
Building out Build with Baker
This site is in active growth. I just shipped per-tool detail pages, a privacy policy, and the first post in a new writing section. The full history lives in the ship log. Next up are a few smaller pages and an email list for people who want new posts without living on X.
The tools
Wren — my local-first sticky-notes app — is in beta, and I'm working through cloud-folder sync so notes reach your phone, plus tables and tags. Pinion.md is live at v1 and gets polish updates. UniStyle stays live and maintained as the most-used thing I've shipped. There are more tools in the pipeline I'm not ready to name yet.
Writing and posting
I post practical AI workflows on X for knowledge workers with real jobs, and I'm starting to move the longer thoughts here to the writing section where they're easier to find and read than a buried thread.
The day job and the Northwoods
I still spend my days in DevOps — security, systems, the operational work that keeps things running — which is where a lot of the local-first, privacy-minded instinct in my tools comes from. And I'm doing all of it from Ashland, Wisconsin, on the south shore of Lake Superior.
